Welcome. We are oyoyoy (오이오이오이) — a standing oyster bar on Seongsuil-ro in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. You eat at the rail: Goheung and Tongyeong oysters on ice, fried oysters, and oyster ramyeon regulars finish after the raw set.

How to order when you stand at the rail

Start with two oysters each from Goheung and Tongyeong if it is your first visit — sweetness and salinity differ. The oyoyoy special (₩47,000) pairs both regions with sea urchin when we have it.

We are not a hoe house and we do not pretend to be. There is no long sit-down course — you stand, you shuck or we shuck, you move on to fried oysters or the ramyeon pot if you are still hungry. House wine runs ₩8,000; draft beer ₩6,000.

Second branch

We also run oyoyoy Yeonnam in the Hongdae area. Seongsu stays the original express line — best on weeknights when the cafés close and the street turns into seafood.

Practical notes

Come early on weekends — the rail fills fast. If you want a deeper read on Seoul raw fish and oysters, the Seoul hoe & oyster guide on FishRestaurants situates us next to Noryangjin and the alley hoejips.
