Welcome. We’re Fog Harbor Fish House on PIER 39 in San Francisco. If your map pin says Chinatown, delete it. We look at the bay — Alcatraz when the fog lifts, the Golden Gate when it does not — and Fisherman’s Wharf noise either way.

The hours that survived the bad cards
Directory cards lie faster than tides. One old listing stopped every night at 9. Another ran every night to 10. Both were inventions.
The hours on fogharbor.com are the ones we stand behind: Sunday through Thursday, 11am to 9pm. Friday and Saturday, 11am to 10pm. Phone (415) 421-2442. Book or walk in — but come to PIER 39, not Grant Avenue.
What we promise about the fish
Our site describes the seafood as 100% sustainable. That is the line we publish; the menu is the proof. An hour of validated parking in the pier garage is part of the visit — ask the host how the stamp works that day; garages change their minds.
We are a full fish house on the Wharf, not a chowder stand with a view. When the check matches the room, the meal sits near fine-dining seafood. A lot of Wharf meals do not. You will know which one you ordered.

Before you sit — optional reading
We will not pretend this article is your menu. If you want background while you wait for a window table, the oyster guide and prawn guide on FishRestaurants.com are general species pages — not a promise about tonight’s special. The rest of the city is on the San Francisco directory. Use the guide cards below when you want those pages in one click.
Come for the window. Leave the Chinatown slug in the trash.
Thank you for reading. We mean that.
