We built FishRestaurants.com to help you find great fish and seafood restaurants by city. This blog is the companion: daily-style articles on what people eat from the coast to the capital, and why it matters.

What you will read here
- Regional dishes and how locals order them
- Seasonal seafood tips for travellers
- Links to our city directories when a story connects to a place we cover
How we publish
New posts are added as markdown files in the project (`content/blog/`). Each article is reviewed for clarity and linked to our directory where it helps readers plan a meal.

Start with a city, not the whole ocean
This site is a directory of fish restaurants with hours, photos, and ratings, plus guides for the plate in front of you. The useful way in is the city you are eating in this week. A worldwide list feels complete and helps nobody book Tuesday.
If you are choosing a coast, use the city pages we keep current: Miami for stone crab season and snapper, Lisbon for sardines and a marisqueira priced by the kilo, Tokyo for a counter or a grilled-fish set, Singapore for chilli crab by the kilo, London for a raw bar that names the farm. The fish guide is there when you want the species itself, and the recipes are for the night you cook instead.
Ratings move and kitchens close. The listing is the thing to trust on the day, not the sentence that welcomed you to the site.
